summer solstice...
Happy Summer Solstice! The heat wave arrived just in time and the top of Mt. Tam is the perfect place to be on days like this. Fresh warm breezes high above the world, rolling golden hills for miles and miles, vast ocean views towards the setting sky, a calming sensation and peace as the sun slowly vanishes behind the horizon; Pure perfection. I love living in Marin.

snow tops...
Mt. Tamalpias, CA. I've lived in Marin all my life and this was the first time I got to experience the rare occasion of snow on Mt. Tam. The road was closed so we hiked in from the Bolinas Fairfax Road split. It sure was cold but so beautiful and worth the walk. We even saw a coyote roaming around. It was such a surreal moment to be at home sitting in the snow with the vast ocean views ahead. Simply spectacluar! © Anna Johnson, 2011. All Rights Reserved.
